Maricopa County Parks & Recreation Department oversees one of the largest regional park systems in the U.S., encompassing approximately 120,000 acres.  Within that system are hundreds of campsites, spread across multiple regional parks. 

On November 17, 2025, our team at Kaizen will launch a reservation platform built to modernize how residents and visitors engage with campgrounds, ramadas, sports facilities, programs, annual passes and more.

Our team has spent time onsite—walking through campgrounds, touring sports and community facilities, and reviewing program and pass offerings—to ensure the system aligns with how Maricopa operates and how users want to engage.

With this platform, users will be able to:

• Browse and book campsites, ramadas, sports fields, community spaces and annual-pass registrations in one place.

• Create and manage household profiles (members, emergency contacts, payment methods).

• Reserve and pay from any device—mobile, tablet or desktop.

• Enjoy a streamlined, mobile-friendly experience that reduces staff workload and improves transparency.

This upgrade positions Maricopa County to scale its recreation offerings—from existing campgrounds to new memberships, sports fields and community spaces—with a seamless reservation experience for its vast resident and visitor base.
