Challenge
The City of Sarasota wanted a resident-friendly way to register for programs, reserve facilities, and manage memberships—without the friction of phone calls or paper forms. The goals were simple: mobile access, real-time availability, and household account management in one place.
Our Solution
Kaizen Labs deployed Sarasota’s new online registration and reservations portal, giving residents a single destination to create an account, discover programs, and book facilities—all optimized for smartphones. The interface surfaces live inventory for classes and spaces and supports household profiles and payments, reducing front-desk load while improving transparency.
Results
-
Faster sign-ups & fewer lines: Residents can self-serve online, including first-time account creation and checkout.
-
Any-device access: The portal is built for quick, mobile use so people can register from anywhere.
-
Real-time booking: Facility and program availability is visible before checkout, cutting back-and-forth with staff.
-
Household management: Families can manage members and history under a single account.
