Platform Tracking Technologies

This page describes the tracking technologies that Kaizen Laboratories, Inc. (“Kaizen,” “we,” “us” or “our”) deploys on digital properties and applications built with the Kaizen platform. These tracking technologies are used to improve service delivery, understand usage patterns, and maintain system performance. This disclosure applies to sites and applications operated by our business customers (such as municipalities and government agencies) using the Kaizen platform.

 
Tracking technologies we use

PostHog Analytics.

We use PostHog, an open-source product analytics platform, to collect usage data and analyze how visitors interact with sites and applications built on the Kaizen platform. PostHog helps us understand user activity, improve the platform, and support our business customers in delivering better services.

 
Information collected through PostHog includes:

– IP addresses

– Device information and browser type

– Operating system

– Page views and navigation patterns

– Click events and interaction data

– Session duration

 
Data storage and retention.
Data collected through PostHog is stored on PostHog Cloud servers located in the United States. Session recordings and raw event data are retained for 90 days, after which they are automatically deleted. Aggregated and anonymized statistics derived from this data may be retained for longer periods for analytics and platform improvement purposes. Session Cookies.
The Kaizen platform uses essential session cookies to maintain user authentication and enable core functionality. These cookies are temporary and are deleted when you close your browser. They do not track you across other websites.
